Good Friday at the Zoo

We had nice weather today, so we packed up and headed to the St. Louis Zoo! It was very crowded so we were unable to see our favorite penguin exhibit. There was a HUGE line to get in! Luckily, the bears were out and about and Jack got to see them roam around and look at us!

Natalie was a very good girl and just enjoyed the stroller ride. She didn't make a peep the whole time! We walked around for about an hour looking at the giraffes, prairie dogs, chimpanzees, zebras, black bears, grizzly bears, and polar bears. It was a nice outing for our family. We had a great time! Jack's Birthday Party

Jack's 4th birthday party theme was the St. Louis Cardinals! His birthday cake looked like a baseball thanks to a local bakery. We served hot dogs, brats, nachos, peanuts, soft pretzels, and cotton candy. Just like you were at the Busch Stadium watching a game! We had a baseball pinata that Jack and Sam beat to death with a baseball bat. They FINALLY got to the loot after about a half hour! Jack opened tons of nice gifts. He loves them all. Happy Birthday Jack!!

Happy Half-Birthday Natalie!

Natalie got her first tooth on March 9th...and today she has her second tooth! Her two bottom teeth have come in. She did pretty well. I've only given her Tylenol a few times at bedtime. She is drooling a ton and gnawing on her hands. Her poor nose is running too! She was 6 months old on March 5th! She is growing so fast! She rolls from her back to her tummy, then gets stuck. She gets so mad! She is starting to sit up with assistance. She loves to play with small toys in her hands. She likes for you to sing to her...she giggles. She's a happy girl! I'll be getting her 6 month pictures taken soon...

Happy Birthday Jack!!

Today is Jack's 4th birthday!! We had a mini celebration tonight with ice cream (Jack's favorite!). Hard to believe is is 4 already...where has the time gone???

We got a sneak peak of Spring weather today...77 degrees! Grandma and Grandpa came over and we took a long walk around the neighborhood. It was a very windy day again, but sunny and warm!

Natalie looked so darling in her bonnet. :) Jack took a spin on his tricycle, with Grandma's help!

Monday and Tuesday we are expecting rain, sleet, and 3-6 inches of snow!! Let's hope the weathermen are wrong!

Bedtime!

Tonight while tucking Jack into bed...we tucked Natalie into bed with him! The two of them giggled and kissed each other before finally going to bed - for real.

Today we FINALLY had nice weather...so we headed outside for a walk!! It was sunny and 58 degrees, a bit windy, but we didn't care! The fresh air felt so good. We got to see several of our neighbors while outside. The neighborhood was buzzing with people taking walks, riding bikes, and kids playing. Hurry up Spring!!

Jack and Natalie loved the walk. Natalie hadn't been on a walk since she was a newborn, and would hate every minute of it. (She would scream the whole time!) Today she loved it. She kept an eye on Jack the whole ride and would laugh at him. Jack always loves taking walks. He is such an outdoor kid, we came back and he ran around the yard - in the mud of course! He was a mess, but had so much fun!

Unfortunately, our nice weather is about to change...in 2 days we are supposed to get another snow storm...NOOOOOOOOOO!!!
