Happy 4th of July!

We went to our local park to watch the fireworks. Jack was so excited. He loves watching them. Natalie went with us this year and did very well. She didn't make a peep the whole time! Todd held her and she just watched them and smiled. She was so tired! They didn't start until after 9:30pm! That's 2 hours past Jack and Natalie's bedtime! They did great and had fun.

Back from the BEACH!!

Here are some highlights of our trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama! We had a GREAT time! We rented a condo right on the beach for 7 nights. It had a wonderful kiddie pool that Jack LOVED. Jack also LOVED the beach! He didn't want to come home. His room had bunk beds to sleep in! Natalie traveled pretty well...considering she cut a tooth while we were gone and we didn't know it! That explains all the fussiness! She was scared of the ocean at first...and the pool too. She eventually warmed up to them by the time we left. Most of our time was at the beach or pool. We ate some wonderful fresh seafood at local restaurants. Jack got to ride go-carts for the first time and play mini golf. We also went to the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, which is a wonderful little zoo that was featured on the Animal Planet channel. The lions and tigers were RIGHT THERE! It was neat to see them up close. We all had a fun and relaxing trip. We are looking forward to going back soon!
